MY GREAT-GRANDUNCLE

  Corpl. Harry Lewis Wyland* b. on Dec 25, 1895 at Newport News, VA. Enlisted on Dec 14, 1917 in Richmond, VA as a Private into 1st Va Infantry section of the National Guard. Assigned to Co. B, 116th Reg 29th Div. Camp McCellan from Sept 20 to June 11. On Nov 15, 1918 promoted to Corpl. On Oct 12, 1918 Gassed. On Oct 13th 1918 Base Hospital 58 France. On May 20, 1919 discharged from Camp Lee, Petersburg, VA as a Corpl. On Jan 20, 1967 he died.

  Pfc. Alvia Carl Wyland b. on Jan 29, 1888 in Smith Co, KS. Draft WW1. On May 15, 1958 he died in Auburn, King Co, WA. Buried in Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, WA.

  Corporal. Burr Robert Wineland b. on May 23, 1890 in Mark Center, Defiance Co, OH. Enlisted on Jun 24, 1918 in Defiance Co, OH. National Army WW1. Headquarters Company 334 Infantry to 4 Nov 1918; Co M 310 Infantry to Discharge Corporal 1 Nov 1918. American Expeditionary Forces 1 Sept 1918 to 23 May 1919. Honorable discharge 5 June 1919. On Apr 10, 1949 he died.

  Pfc. Frank Milton Wyland b. on Jan 09, 1887 in Jewell, Jewell Co., KS. WW1. On Apr 22, 1946 he died in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

  Pvt. George Christian Wyland* b. on Feb 11, 1894 in Harlan, Shelby Co, IA. WW1. In 1936 he died. Buried in Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, Shelby Co, IA.

  2nd Lt. Gerald Pound Wyland* b. on Sep 11, 1889 in Kansas. WW1. Enlisted on May 15, 1918 into US ARMY. On Jan 21, 1960 he died. Buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Happy Valley, Clackamas Co, OR Section S Site 2827.

  Pfc. Jasper Lloyd Wyland b. on Jul 13, 1899 in Gaylord, Smith, KS. WW1. On Jan 22, 1979 he died in Auburn, King, WA.

  Pfc. John Orien Wyland b. on Jan 08, 1881 in Jewell, Jewell Co., KS. WW1. On Apr 05, 1943 he died in Alliance, Box Butte, NE.

  Sgt. Raymond Wyland Sr* b. in Sep 1893 in Myrtle Point, Coos Co, OR. US Army WW1. On Jan 21, 1963 he died in Myrtle Point, Coos Co, OR. Buried in Norway Cemetery, Norway, Coos Co, OR.
