  MY 4TH GREAT-GRANDFATHER

( F )   Pvt. George G. Sparks b. on Nov 09, 1796. WAR OF 1812. On May 11, 1879 he died.

  Corpl. James S. Thompson Sr.* b. in 1768 in VA. AKA Soldier Jimmy. Enlisted on Jun 20, 1812 at Nelson Court House by Lt. Keyes as a Private in the 20th U.S. Infantry (Army). He was promoted to Corpl. for a period of 5 years for the War of 1812. Height: 5'10 1/2", Eyes: Blue, Hair: Black, Complexion: Fair, Age: 43, Occupation: Farmer, Nelson, VA. On Jun 20, 1817 he was discharged Term Expired. In 1850 he died in Nelson Co, VA.

MY 5TH GREAT-GRANDFATHER

  Pvt. Presley Chenault* b. Abt. 1790 in VA. War of 1812. Reubin M. Garnett’s Co. 9th Regt, Virginia Militia, command of Lt. Col. William Boyd. In 1826 he died in Caroline Co, VA.

MY 4TH GREAT-GRANDUNCLE

( F )   Pvt. Caleb Lashley b. Abt. 1794 in VA. He was a soldier in the War of 1812 he died.

MY 5TH GREAT-GRANDUNCLES

  Pvt. John Wyland b. Jan 12, 1790 in Morrison's Cove, Bedford Co, PA. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. He disowned by his family for carrying arms against their religion. On Apr 24, 1834 He died in Ft. Wayne, Allen Co, IN.

  Pvt. Christopher Wyland b. 1792 in Bedford Co, PA. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. He disowned by his family for carrying arms against their religion.

MY 6TH GREAT-GRANDUNCLE

  Pvt. Abraham Wineland b. Abt 1770 in Morrison's Cove, Bedford Co, PA. He was a soldier in the War of 1812.

  Captain. Wyatt F. Camden b. 1784 in Jack`s Hill, Roseland, Nelson Co, VA. Army. War of 1812. He died abt. 1849 in Aspen Hill, Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA.

  Pfc. Wiatt Campbell b. 1786. Virginia Militia in the War of 1812.

  Pvt. John T. Coffey b. on Oct 15, 1776 in Wilkes Co, NC. War of 1812. On Mar 15, 1845 he died in Grainger Co, TN.
