William Fitzhugh Lee b. on April 27, 1832 in Richmond, Va. Virginia Military Institute, Class of 1853. Lt. Col. 33rd VA Infantry. 3 years in the US Army. On June 30, 1855 2nd Lt of the 2nd US Infantry. On April 30, 1861 resigned. By July 1861 was Capt and temporaily asgnd to 33rd Va Infantry. On July 21, 1861 MWIA in the breast Battle of 1st Bull Run "1st Manassas" while acting as "field lieutenant-colonel" of the regt. On July 29, 1861 he died of his wounds.
