Thomas Jefferson Wingfield b. on Apr 14, 1832 in Albermarle Co, VA. Enlisted on May 2, 1862 at Spotsylvania Co, VA into Co. I, 5th VA Cavalry. He fought in the Battles of Bull Run, Trevellians (Louisa Courthouse, Va), Fredericksburg and Clayton Store Road among others. On May 19, 1865 he was paroled in Charlottesville, VA.
