Thomas J. Campbell b. 1837 Enlisted on May 1, 1861 at Massie Mill into the Nelson Grays Co. G, 19th Va Infantry at the age of 25 years old. On Oct 1861 to Feb 1862 he was assigned as a teamster. On March 3, 1863 died of Pneumonia at Petersburg hospital in Va. Info came family members. (Brother of Daniel Goode Campbell and Martin Van Burean Campbell)

Also on Feb 12, 1864 Also listed as a conscript enroled assigned to the Rgmt. On April 12, 1864 having been admitted to Chim #4 for acute diarrhea. On Aug 6, 1864 furloughed there for 60 days.
