Thomas G Campbell b. in September 1840 Enlisted on Aug 31, 1861 at Nelson County, Va into Rives' Amherst-Nelson Light Artillery. Hospitalized Charlottesville, Va. On May 10 1863 Transferred to General Hospl, Lynchburg, Va. On June 30 1863 Sick at home. On Oct 1, 1863 Absent through this date. On Amherst County pension list. He was in debt $40.46 to the CSA. After the War he was a resident of Nelson county.
