Enlisted on July 23, 1861 at Bowling Green, VA into Caroline VA Light Artillery as a Captain. On Nov 23, 1864 Absent, sick with chronic diarrhoea. On Jan 15, 1865 Returned. On Feb 28, 1865 On rolls Present. On April 27, 1865 Oath Allegiance in Ashland, VA.In 1896 he died in St Louis, Missouri.
