 VMI Cadet Jaqueline Beverly Stanard. Jaqueline Beverly Stanard was b. on April 27, 1845 in Orange Co, Va. On Jan 30, 1863 Stanard started school at VMI as a Private. He was in Co. B. On May 15,1864 at the age of 19 he was mortally wounded in the Orchard at the battle of New Market, Va. His friend and roomate was John S. Wise. AKA Jack to his fellow cadets and Bev to his family.
