Robert Brooke Jones b. in 1829 Enlisted on May 1, 1861 at Gloucester CH, VA into the Chesapeake Cavalry Co. A, 5th Va Cavalry. On Feb 15, 1862 Re-enlisted. On Feb 28, 1862 On rolls. On Nov 15, 1863 On rolls through Apr 1864. On May 11, 1864 WIA at yellow Tavern. On May 13, 1864 hospitalized for wounds at Richmond, VA. On June 3, 1864 Died of his wounds. Buried at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Va.
