Peter Wyland b. on July 30, 1839 Enlisted on Aug 29, 1862 as a Private into Co. B, 148th Pa Infantry at the age of 23 years old. On July 1-3 1863 he fought at the battle of Gettysburg, his name is listed on the 148th Pa Infantry Monument at Gettysburg, PA as Peter Wylan under Company B. On Oct 12, 1863 sent to hospital in at Washington, DC. On Jan 1, 1865 He was Mustered Out at Alexandria, VA "absent, sick at muster out". AKA Peter Wylan.
