Peter Larkin Hudson b. on Feb 3, 1844 Enlisted on Aug 24, 1861 at Carnifex Ferry, Nicholas Co, WV as a Private into Co. B, 8th Va Cavalry. On May 13, 1862 Re-enlist. Sick furlough Nelson Co, VA. Sept 17, 1864 to Oct 1, 1864 AWOL. On Mar 3, 1865 hospitalized with tumor on the groin in Farmville, VA. Transferred from company B to company D. On Feb 5, 1917 he died.
