Mosheim Gellert Steck b. September 08, 1838 Enlisted on Apr 24, 1861 as a Musician into Co. I, 11th Pa Inf. On July 31, 1861 He was Mustered Out at Harrisburg, Pa. Reenlisted on Oct 25, 1861 into Co. F, 11th Pa Infantry. On Dec 16, 1861 he was promoted to Principal Musician. On June 12, 1862 he was promoted to Private and Transferred from company F to company K 11th Pa Inf. On Aug 19, 1864 POW at Weldon Railroad, Va. On June 5, 1865 He died as a POW at Salisbury, NC.
