Jesse B. Toliver Enlisted on May 3, 1862 at Alleghany County into Co. I, 61st NC Infantry at the age of 32 years old. On June 15, 1862 Absent Without Leave. On Feb 29, 1864 Returned. On March 15, 1864 He was under arrest. On Nov 15, 1864 listed as a deserter. Buried in the William Moxley Cemetery in Alleghany Co, NC.
