James Dunlop Moncure b. on August 02, 1842 in Richmond, Va. Virginia Military Institute, Class of 1864. Enlisted on April 23, 1862 at Bowling Green, Va into Co. B, 9th Va Cavalry. On May 2, 1865 paroled at Ashland, Va. On Nov 10, 1898 he died in Williamsburg, Va. Buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Va.
