Henry F Cope b. on April 29, 1835 in Greensburg, PA. Enlisted on Oct 1, 1861 as a Private into Co. K, 11th Pa Infantry. On Feb 23, 1862 He was discharged for disability. On Sept 12, 1864 he mustered into Co. K, 211th Pa Inf. On June 5, 1865 He was discharged. Member of GAR Post # 153 (Capt Thomas Espy) in Carnegie, PA.
