Harry Lewis Wyland Sr. b. on December 25, 1895 in Newport News, VA. Enlisted on Dec 14, 1917 in Richmond, VA as a Private into 1st Va Infantry section of the National Guard. He was assigned originally to Co. B, 116th regt 29th divsion. Trained or Stationed at Camp McClellan from Sept 20th to June 11th. On Oct 12, 1918 Gassed. On Oct 13th 1918 Base Hospital 58 France. On May 20, 1919 discharged from Camp Lee, Petersburg, as a Corpl. On Jan 20, 1967 he died. (Brother of Robert Lee Wyland, George G. Wyland, Philip J. Wyland, and Fred C. Wyland)
