Edmund Taylor b. on Sept 30, 1826 in Caroline Co. VA. Virginia Military Institute, Class of 1844. Was 1st Lieut. of the Reserve Army of the Confederate States on duty in Richmond, Va. On Sept. 21, 1881 he died in Richmond, Va. (some records show his date of death being Jan. 7, 1881).
