Daniel Wesley Williams b. on Nov 12, 1833 Enlisted on April 17, 1861 as a Corporal into Montgomery Fencibles Co. G, 4th Va Infantry. On April 22, 1862 Priv "Reduced to ranks". On May 12, 1864 POW at Spotsylvania Court House, VA. On March 10, 1865 confined at Elmira, NY until exchanged. On Feb 27, 1907 he died. Buried in Christiansburg, Va. From the 4th Va Infantry book by Dr. James I. Robertson for The Virginia Regimental Histories Series.
