  CPL. Guy Edward Coffey* b. on Jun 3, 1925 in Avery Co, NC. Enlisted on Nov 30, 1942 in Camp Croft, Spartanburg Co, SC. CPL Army and MN2 US Navy Korea. On Mar 30, 2003 in NC. Buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, Caldwell Co, NC.

  Amm1c. William Lawson Coffey Jr.* b. on May 21, 1908 in Alanthus Grove, Gentry Co, MO. Enlisted on Jul 31, 1947. US Navy Korea. USS HORNET (CV-8) in the Battle of Midway. Ogeron was on temporary duty from VP-44, replacing Coffey in Woodside's crew after arriving at Midway NAS. Ogeron took Coffey's ride that day. Wm. Coffey was listed as missing for 19 days before they realized he was not on the plane when it was shot down. There were actually two survivors that day. Lt. Gay and Chief Coffey. On Sep 24, 1978 he died in Sun City, Riverside Co, CA. Buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA, Section 7 Site 685.
