Pvt Marvel Tenn Coffey
b. in 1842 Enlisted into 26th Tenn Infantry. He was captured
at Ft. Donelson in TN and exchanged at Vicksburg. He rejoined his unit.
Wounded in the hip at Stones River in Murfreesboro, TN. He saw action from
Atlanta to Franklin and was captured at Bentonville, NC and taken to Pt. Lookout
until the end of the War two months later. On March 25, 1917 He died in Rockcastle
Co, Ky.
