Charles Henry Coleman b. on November 03, 1836 in Buckingham Co, Va. Enlisted on May 24, 1861 at Appomattox Co, Va into the Co. H, 2nd Va Cavalry at the age of 24 years old. On Oct 31, 1861 On rolls. On Jan 15, 1862 reduced to Priv. On Dec 31, 1862 On rolls. On Apr 30, 1863 On rolls. On June 17, 1863 Wounded in the leg at Aldie, Va. On Aug 26, 1863 On horse detail for 14 days. On Aug 31, 1864 On rolls. On Feb 22, 1865 On rolls. On December 13, 1906 he died. Buried in the Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Rt 615, Appomattox Co, Va.
