On Mar 3, 1862 hospitalized with Otitis and deafness in Charlottesville, VA. On May 22, 1862 Returned. On Jun 1, 1862 Wounded at Seven Pines, VA. On May 15, 1863 detailed on conscript duty. On Jul 21, 1863 hospitalized Gunshot to right hand. On Aug 14, 1863 He was discharged for disability. He was described as: 5' 11", light complexion, blue eyes, dark hair. On Feb 24, 1926 he died in Albemarle Co, VA. Buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, North Garden Albemarle Co, VA.
