David M. Anderson b. 1842 Virginia Military Institute, Class of 1864. Enlisted on June 30, 1862 as a Private into Co. K, 2nd Va Cavalry. In 1862 he had been detailed to hosp duty. Often in hosp with various ailments including "diarrhea anddiphtheria". On Mar 1, 1863 wounded at Kelly's Ford. On Mar 1, 1864 transferred to Co. A, 1st MO Cavalry. On April 25, 1865 paroled in Ashland as a member of the 2nd Va Cavarly. In Oct 1867 he died of yellow fever in Shreveport, LA. If you have any information on My 5th cousin 3 times removed David M.
