Amm1c. William Lawson Coffey Jr.*
b. on May 21, 1908 in Alanthus Grove, Gentry Co, MO. Enlisted on Jul 31, 1947. US Navy Korea. USS HORNET
(CV-8) in the Battle of Midway. Ogeron was on temporary duty from VP-44, replacing Coffey in Woodside's
crew after arriving at Midway NAS. Ogeron took Coffey's ride that day. Wm. Coffey was listed as missing
for 19 days before they realized he was not on the plane when it was shot down. There were actually two
survivors that day. Lt. Gay and Chief Coffey. On Sep 24, 1978 he died in Sun City, Riverside Co, CA.
Buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA, Section 7 Site 685.
Pvt. Roy Loving Coleman Jr.
b. on Oct 19, 1926 in Rockbridge Co, VA. US Army Korea. On Feb 27, 2009 he died

Pvt. Gary Keath Foster*
b. on August 23, 1936 Kincaid, Fayette Co, WV. He was in the Army,
and spent over 2 years in Korea. He picked up something over there
that eventually led to his death. He had averaged about one surgery
a year when he died on June 14, 1982.

b. on Jan 6, 1933 in Monon, White, Indiana. US Army Korea. On Sep 15, 1988 he died.
Buried in Davis Cemetery. Burnettsville (White County)Cass Co, IN.
Airman First Class. Virgil Lester Goode
b. on Jul 16, 1926 in Casey Co, KY. US Air Force Korea. On Aug 11, 2002 he died

Sgt. Glenn Finley Gregg Jr
b. on Oct 30, 1929. Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps. Was a member of
Company I, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was
Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on September 26,
1950. Sergeant Gregg was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Service
Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal,
the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
Casualty Cause: Gunshot or Small Arms Fire. Casualty Air: Ground
Casualty.
