On Feb 19, 1864 Jailed at Abingdon, VA. On Feb 24, 1865 Furloughed for
30 days. On March 11, 1865 He was transferred out and into Veteran Reserve
Corps.

fired the first shot at Bethel. On October 27, 1861 he died at Land's
End, Warwick Co., Va.

Pvt. Andrew Jackson Taliaferro*
b. on Sept 22, 1834 in Haywood Co, TN. Co. I, 3rd Texas Cavalry. On Sept 18, 1862
killed during the Battle of Iuka. He is buried in a mass grave with 102 other
Confederate soldiers in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Iuka, Tishomingo Co, MS.
