  Pvt. William Benjamin Gilmer Meriwether b. on January 10, 1843 Co. I, 2nd Alabama Cavalry. On December 02, 1867 he died.

  2nd Lieut. John Montgomery Preston b. on October 14, 1838 Enlisted on May 18, 1861 at Smyth County, Va as a 2nd Lieut into Co. D, 48th Va Infantry at the age of 22 years old. On Nov 30, 1861 Furloughed. On Dec 1, 1861 Returned. On Feb 28, 1862 Hospitalized. On March 31, 1862 Returned. On July 2, 1863 Wounded in the neck at Gettysburg, PA. On Nov 27, 1863 Wounded in the thigh at Payne's Farm, VA. On Nov 30, 1863 hospitalized at Charlottesville, VA. On Feb 19, 1864 Jailed at Abingdon, VA. On Feb 24, 1865 Furloughed for 30 days. On March 11, 1865 He was transferred out and into Veteran Reserve Corps.

  Pvt Napoleon Bonaparte Shinault b. on Oct 20, 1828 in TN. Enlisted into Co. F, 18th MS Cavalry. POW.

  Capt. Robert Conway Stanard b. on February 18, 1833 Enlisted on April 20, 1861 at Gordonsville, Va into Co. D, 1st Va Artillery 3rd Co. Richmond Howitzers. Served under Gen. Magruder. Also in Co. K, 1st Va Artillery 2nd Co. On June 8, 1861 His gun fired the first shot at Bethel. On October 27, 1861 he died at Land's End, Warwick Co., Va.

  Pvt James William Stevens Enlisted on May 10, 1861 at Lynchburg, VA into the Lynchburg VA Light Artillery. On Dec 12, 1861 Absent, sick. On Feb 28, 1862 Absent, sick.

  Pvt. Andrew Jackson Taliaferro* b. on Sept 22, 1834 in Haywood Co, TN. Co. I, 3rd Texas Cavalry. On Sept 18, 1862 killed during the Battle of Iuka. He is buried in a mass grave with 102 other Confederate soldiers in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Iuka, Tishomingo Co, MS.

  Pvt. Allen Toliver b. in 1832 Enlisted on Aug 5, 1862 in Alleghany Co, NC into Co. I, 61st NC Infantry at the age of 32 years old. On Sept 15, 1862 He was discharged.

  Pvt. Charles Adams Taliaferro* b. on September 18, 1844 Enlisted into Co. D, 12th MS Infantry which became part of the 12th VA Infantry. He was Courier.

  Corpl. Charles Champe Taliaferro Jr* b. on January 26, 1842 Enlisted on July 1, 1861 as a Private into 1st" Co. VA R. Howitzers Light Artillery. On Aug 18, 1861 He was transferred out and into Co. H, 4th Va Cavalry. On Sept 15, 1861 Detailed w/Gnl Walker. On Oct 1, 1861 Returned. On Oct 4, 1861 Detailed on picket in Accotink Run, Va. On Nov 15, 1861 Detailed w/Gnl Taylor. On Dec 15, 1861 Returned. On Nov 1, 1862 He was transferred out and into Co. F, 6th Va Cavalry and promoted to Corpl. On Aug 31, 1863 Absent, leave. On July 15, 1864 promoted to Sergt as of Co. F, 6th Va Cav. On May 17, 1865 Oath Allegiance at Winchester, Va.

  Pvt. Charles Frances Taliaferro b. in 1837 Enlisted on April 20, 1861 as a Private into Co. A, 2nd GA Battn Infantry. He was discharged for disability.

  2nd Lieut. Charles Simon Taliaferro* b. Abt. 1840 Enlisted into Co. L, 7th TN Cavalry (Duckworth's).

  Surgeon. Cincinnatus Warren Taliaferro b. on Dec 4, 1832 in Haywood Co, TN. Crewa' Battalion Tennessee Infantry.

  Pvt. Creed Toliver Enlisted as a Private into Co. C, McRae's NC Bat Cavalry. On Sept 20, 1864 Bounty roll. On Sept 29, 1864 Pres thru Dec 31, 1864. Later served in Co. G, 1st NC Cavalry.

  Pvt. Jacob W. Toliver Enlisted on May 3, 1862 at Alleghany Co, NC at the of 31 years old into Co. I, 61th NC Infantry. On Nov 1, 1862 Hospitalized at Wilson County, NC. On Jan 12, 1863 Discharged at Columbia, SC "Discharge was revoked". On Jan 15, 1863 Returned. On April 29, 1863 Hospitalized at Charleston, SC. On May 5, 1863 Furloughed for 30 days. On July 15, 1863 Absent without leave. On March 15, 1864 Returned NFR.

  Pvt. James Madison Taliaferro b. on Oct 30, 1838 in Haywood Co, TN. Enlisted on August 21, 1862 into Co. I, 3rd Texas Cavalry. In May 1864 he died.

  Pvt. John Richard Alexander Taliaferro b. on Feb 22, 1822 in Maury Co, TN. 3rd (Forrest's) Tennessee Cavalry. On Dec 20, 1891 he died in Glen Rose Co, TX.

  1st Lieut. John Seymour Taliaferro* b. on July 15, 1830. Enlisted on June 11, 1861 as 1st Lieutenant into Co. B, 47th Va Infantry. On April 30, 1862 Promoted to Capt. On Feb 11, 1863 Detailed to court. On Dec 31, 1864 On rolls. On April 30, 1865 Paroled at King George Court House, Va.

  Pvt. John Walker Taliaferro In Aug 1861 he died of fever.

  Pvt. Lewis Bourbon Taliaferro b. on Aug 17, 1841 in Haywood Co, TN. Co. I, 3rd Texas Cavalry.

  Pvt. Lewis W. Taliaferro* Co. D, 7th TN Cavary (Duckworth's).
