Albert L Stevens b. in 1837 Enlisted on May 1, 1861 into the Nelson Grays Co. G, 19th Va Infantry. On March 4, 1862 through June 1863 Abesent Sick. On July 3, 1863 POW at Gettysburg, PA. On July 12, 1863 Confined at Fort Delware, MD. On Oct 26, 1863 Confined at Point Lookout, MD. On Mar 16, 1864 Arrived at City Point, Va for exchange. On July 8,1864 he returned to his unit. On April 6, 1865 POW at Harper's Farm, VA. On April 9, 1865 Confined at City Point, Va. On April 14, 1865 Confined at Point Lookout, MD. On June 20, 1865 Oath Allegiance at Point Lookout, MD and was Released. He was described as 5' 9.0", dark complexion, grey eyes, brown hair. After the War he was a farmer in Nelson Co, VA.
